About US
Our Vision
Our goal is to ease, assist, and promote the health and well-being of patients. We aim to advance women’s health by bringing gynecological cancers to the forefront of the Israeli public agenda, providing accessible information for prevention and early detection, and improving the care experience for patients and their families.
Why Us?
As the first and only organization in Israel dedicated exclusively to gynecological cancers, we uniquely represent the interests of female patients before policymakers.
HaBait Shel Bar adopts a holistic approach to female cancers, integrating diverse perspectives:
- of a cervical cancer survivor.
- of a daughter to a mother diagnosed with endometrial cancer.
- of a chronic patient with ovarian cancer.
- of women who find a home in online communities dedicated to their illness.
- of women undergoing treatments, accompanied and supported by the association.
- and of the wide community of women who serve as caregivers and embrace the patients.
Our Goals
- Raise awareness and promote prevention and early detection of gynecological cancers
- Pave the way for optimal treatments and studies - here in Israel.
- Encourage research in gynecological oncology and improve patients' access to appropriate treatments.
- Normalize palliative care.
- Enhance the patient experience and provide patients with the tools and knowledge to improve their quality of care and their communication with healthcare providers.
- Ensure the voices of gynecological cancer patients are heard and incorporated into the design of oncological care in Israel.
