In Loving Memory
Sarit Rosenberg Levy z”l (1966-2021)
Born in Haifa in 1966 to Bracha and Yosef Rosenberg z”l. She passed away in 2021 after a 9-month battle with endometrial cancer at the age of 54. She is survived by her husband (Menashe), two children (Bar, 27, a co-founder of the association, and Nir, 25), and a brother (Eyal).
She studied at “Herzel” elementary and WIZO Haifa with a focus in fashion design, and later studied interior design at the Technion Institute of Technology. Sarit was one of the most influential fashion designers in Israel, working with companies such as Golf-Kitan, El-Srad Group (FACTORY 54), KIWI, Matim Li, Onot, SACK’S, Naama Bezalel, Dana Ashkenazi, and more. She held management positions in many of these companies and advised foreign companies on entering the Israeli market. Before her illness, she was involved in a fashion technology venture at SELDAT.
Sarit loved life, lived it to the fullest as if she knew her days were numbered, and inspired many. She was an outstanding mother, loving wife, wonderful sister, amazing aunt, and even a “grandmother” to her step-grandchildren. Her family chose to inscribe on her tombstone: “You shone like sunlight, and forever you will illuminate our hearts.”
Sarit’s spirit is the association’s sun. In the spirit of her career, the association utilizes fashion as a tool to raise awareness with the slogan, “fashion saving lives”. In 2023 the association took part in Kornit Fashion Week Tel Aviv FAC with an inspiring awareness campaign, and in 2024 it held a T-shirt design marathon in collaboration with the fashion design and textile design departments at Shenkar.

Bracha Rosenberg z”l (1944-1978)
Born in Bucharest, Romania, in 1944 to Yeti and Herman Shulimzon z”l. She passed away in 1978 after a battle with breast cancer at the age of 34. She was survived by her parents, sister, husband (Yosef), and three children (Shalom, 15, Sarit, 12, and Eyal, 9).
Bracha was a warm and loving mother, an excellent cook, a wonderful friend whose home was always open and welcoming, and a social activist who volunteered with the Civil Guard and WIZO Haifa.
She loved driving and earned a reputation in her neighborhood as a “race car driver.” During the Yom Kippur War she acted upon her volunteer spirit and love for driving, and voluntarily took over the role of the city’s milkman in her personal vehicle.
Bracha had a progressive mindset for her time and wasn’t afraid to break conventions and try new things. Her family chose to inscribe on her tombstone: “You will be a close memory for us, you shone like sunlight”.
Bracha’s volunteer spirit lives on in the association. May her memory be a blessing.
